Photos of my travels are often inspirations for paintings. Superimposing photographs digitally, I came up with ideas for a series that show ancient temples and locations. Greek and other mythologies have always fascinated me, and this series reflects this feelings. Naples and all that surrounds that magnificent city have offered inspiration for all sort of artists for centuries. I am not alone, therefore, in my love for the area. The city itself is one of my favorites in Italy and Vesuvius a mysterious, alas well documented, volcano looming over the entire area a real source of inspiration.
